I'm glad ya'll go...What a great experience! I'm glad ya'll got to experience it, the trip went well, and that even though it wasn't easy, all survived. My husband's parents were houseparents at CH from around 1978 until 1988. He went on many Wilderness camps and loved them - still talks fondly of them. There used to be a small unit in the town I grew up in, where Mike and Janet used to be (in the state of KS) - so we both have memories and friends associated with CH. I remember how hard it was for kids to become accustomed to CH and the big changes. You're making a huge impact on the kids placed in your home and though you may not see that immediately, the imprint of what you do will be with them for the rest of their lives.
